Different tyre sizes on same car? Safe or no safe?

Just replaced a 14 inch alloy wheel and tyre on my ford Fiesta MK4 with a wheel from a Peugot 306. Its still a 14inch wheel but the tyre is 175/65/R14 instead of 185/55/R14 that all my other wheels are. I know that different rim sizes can damage the car but the wheel is the same size, just the tyre different. Is this safe to drive or does tyre need replacing to match the other ones (or other side (front. At least.

Also, The new wheel, although same 14inch size is actually a lot bigger and doesn't sit so deep in the screw holes so the wheel is more prominant that the rest. Still plenty of thread and nuts bolted on very tightly but does look a bit odd. Still safe? Any advice appreciated.

How reliable is a mk5 ford fiesta 1.25?

I know there are different factors considered when answering but I mean in general. For instance when you think Japanese you know it's going to be reliable. But when you think ford? Does reliability come to mind? If not what words would you use to describe the mk5 fiesta?

Worth getting oil leak fixed?

I just had my car MOT'd last week (300 quid worth of repairs! *angry face* ) and on the advisory notice, they told me that there was an oil leak from the side of the engine. The obviously didn't think it was a big problem as they fixed everything else that needed done but not that. Today, after having a bit of a drive, I noticed I had quite a bit of oil under the car where I was parked. In my haste, I decided to go book it into a garage to get fixed (they didn't quote me any prices). But now, having driven around a bit more, checked my oil level, and looked under the car after it's been parked for hours, my oil level is alright, I've got not even a drip under the car, and all seems fine.

Do you guys think it's anything worth getting fixed? Having re-assessed it, I personally don't think so, but a 2nd opinion would be lovely.

I know that "side of engine" isn't all that precise as to where the leak is, but from the sounds of it, do you think it'd be an expensive fix? I'm worried that accessibility to "side of engine" could make it pricey.

It's an 02 Ford Fiesta 1.25 zetec, if that helps. Yes, it's an old car, which is one reason why I don't think it's worth worrying about.

Oh, and I don't think I've ever smelt burning oil while driving it, even on long trips.

What's the best car to get as a first car?

Obviously I won't be getting it any time soon but I'm saving my money up and have been for quite awhile now, I'm 17 in august and that's when I start taking my driving lessons, I quite like the look of the Ford fiesta, like the one in the picture, I love cars that are white for some reason, so what do you all think the best car is to get for your very first car? (Obviously not a brand new one because there's no point)What s the best car to get as a first car

I can't lock my car because it won't open?

My MOT is up next month. I don't lock my car because if i do i can't open it. It is a 2000 Ford fiesta. So there's not much chance of someone nicking it. Lol… Could it cause an MOT fail.

Ford Fiesta or Ford Ka? First car?

I'm cheap looking for a car thats max £500, a lot of older cars from around 2003 seem to be this price for ford ka's and fiesta's, which would you say is better for a 17 year old girl? I just want to go to and from college and maybe shopping ect not more than 10 miles a day.
