Yea it's fine

All petrol is now unleaded.

What you need to check is the Octane rating. Use fuel that's at least as high as the manufacturer specifies. If they say "super" that's probably the local rating for higher octane fuel, and the engine may need that if it's got a higher compression ratio.

Using lower octane can damage the engine. Using higher octane does no harm, but just wastes money for no benefit.

Nobody recommends "Super unleaded" They recommend a certain octane rating. Stick to it unless you want a hobbled engine.

No. They didn't and it doesn't need it

  • What is the recommended oil for a ford 200 inline 6? I heard it needs a zinc additive but I'm not sure. It has 135,000 miles. Another question. What would be the redline? It's a stock engine
  • Ford Fiesta Mark 7: 1.6 Duratec Petrol vs 1.6 TDCi PSA/Ford? I'm looking to buy a 2008-12 Fiesta Zetec S trim and wondered which engine is best. I will be buying the car on around 85000 miles. Which engine is more reliable and can go to higher mileage (>125,000) easier? What are common issues on both engines? What are common issues with the MK7 Fiesta in general? What's real world mpg (I'm aware this varies person to person but would still like to know)?
  • Ford Fiesta 1.2 petrol misfire on cylinder 4? Can somebody help me? I have a Ford Fiesta that's missing on just cylinder 4. I have changed the spark plugs/coil leads/injectors and Reconditioned the head! But yet there's still a misfire on cylinder 4?
  • Even if Christine Fords story was true, would it have even mattered? What she described was not a sexual assault and back in the 80's it wouldn't have even been considered a common assault. In fact it wouldn't even be considered common assault today because of their ages.
