Ford fiesta (2011) 1245.cc Zetec, Radiator Fan Problem,?
Ford fiesta (2011) 1245.cc Zetec, Radiator Fan Problem, Radiator Fan dose'nt come ON. Ieave the car on for 30 to 40 Minute But Rad fan does NOT come ON, Over heat sing comes on the dash board on aftrer 30 to 40 Minute, I had cheaked every thing, induced Relay dirceted fan and it works, Any one out there know the problem is, Thanks
Check the fan fuse with a test light. Swap the relay with a same size relay or a just get a new one. Get a relay tester and a test light. Check for feed power, control (trigger) power and control (trigger) ground at the relay with the test light connected to battery negative with engine running at operating temperature. Check ECT sensor operation with a scanner. Sensor could be bad.
Fuse or temp sensor? Without a wiring diagram, no one can guess.
I had done all this, Check the fuse, check the relay, New temp sensor, all this is fine, BUT the still Rad Fan does'nt Come ON
- My upper radiator hose is hot and the bottom one is cold, is this a problem? I recently replaced the thermostat and new antifreeze. The top side of the radiator (upper hose area) is very hot, the opposite side (lower hose) is cold. Truck is not overheating, it has great heat, I would sweat to death if I left it on too long. 2003 Ford Ranger 4 Cyl 2.3
- My 2000 Ford Ranger 6 Cyl 3.0 L has been overheating. Pretty sure its a radiator problem but odd symptoms? Truck exhaust will puff moderate amount of white smoke (every now n again) on cold startup but will subside after engine warming up.Truck "Was" overheating until i put more coolant in but realised cap was steaming along with coolant reservoir (reservoir was also bubbling). So i bought a new radiator cap. I got a safety cap and after installing I drove a little and engine temp goes to red really fast. What could it be? Thermostat? Water pump? Blown head gasket?
- Have a problem with my coolant fan on a 2002 Ford Focus 16v zetec? Recently bought this car, only has 119k miles on it. I noticed the temperature was going 3/4 of the gauge when I was going through a drive through one day. I always thought the coolant fan would come on if you turned on the cars AC, but mine does not come on at all. What should I be checking first? I checked the coolant fan fuse and it is fine. Any advice would be appreciated!
