Can you change the original brake system of a 1991 Ford Fiesta to all disc?
The backing plates are gone in the ford and they have discontinued the part so can i chang the the hole thing over.to disc brakes?
It really won't help your braking, you have no weight on the rear wheels under heavy braking anyway.

You want to put disce ont the back? Anythings possible, but remember you don't want to lock up the back brakes when stopping or you will skid. Can you find this car in a junkyard? Buy the whole axle with the brakes attached.

I have the correct sockets and a large extension bar, but they will not budge (front or rear). I have tried WD40, thinking of trying a little heat, but its a bit near to the brake hoses. All suggestions gratefully received. I have a full workshop manual on this car issued by Ford which just says that they are tightened to 190Nm. The front bolts are huge 27mm and the rear bolts are 18mm.
- How much is a stock all original 1969 ford f100 worth? Its all original with a 360 V8, three speed on the tree manual transmission, 2 barrel carb. I mean nothing has been changed besides the gas and oil. The color is faded blue, there's no rust in the cab or in the bed. A little surface rust but no holes.
