2014 Ford Fiesta - exterior lights not turning off?

Only noticed today when I caught the reflection off the car in front but I had my lights in the off position (nob in upright position) yet my headlights were still on?

I don't have automatic headlights nor do I have the LED Daytime Running Lights (as it's only the zetec model), so I'm a little confused? Any thoughts? Or is it a fault and I need to go back to the garage?

You have got DRL's but they're not LED's. They're mandatory on all new cars now and are in the spec list for the Zetec.

Hi so with it now being a legal requirement they stay on till the ignition key is well away from the car and it is empty before they will switch off.

All new cars now have driving lights which are on all the time. The LED lights are a more expensive version which you only get on the top models - but any 2014 car will have permanent lights of some sort.

  • 99 Ford ranger XLT base model. Park lights, dash lights, and license plates lights out I checked online and realized it was probably a fuse which it is. Fuse 11 in my power distribution box. The problem is I keep replacing at and soon as I turn on my lights it blows instantly. Have replaced it multiple times. So then I looked under my truck and disconnected the wiring to my taillights and replaced the fuse, it worked it didn't blow. Dash lights and license plates lights were on so I figured some where there's a problem with the brake lights. Any suggestions?
  • What could be causing turning lights to not always turn on? I have a 1999 Ford F150, owned it for about a year now, and recently (as in the past week) when I turn the indicator on, sometimes the lights won't flash. When they do work, the dash arrows flash and click like they re supposed to, but when they don't nothing happens. Hazards work fine. Just wondering if anyone might have a suggestion as to what needs to be replaced/repaired
  • Radio not turning off when opening driver side door? My radio will only turn off when the passenger door is opened but not the driver side door. It's not the fuse. I have a 2005 Ford F150
  • Why are my brake lights turning on randomly? Ford escape 01 Vehicle was off in park with handbrake on, lights were set to off, car i would press the brake pedal to turn it off but the light would still come on. Also my oil light has been blinking on and off randomly, engine sounds fine, oil is full. by, come on, I mean the light would go out for a sec after i released the pedal then come back on, i disconnected the battery
