2012 Ford Fiesta a good car?

I'm helping my mom look for a car since hers was totaled. I have a 2014 Focus and I told her the auto transmission will probably drive the same. She doesn't drive much so it won't be used extensively like I use my focus. She like it because it's purple but it has 80 thousand miles. Is that too much?

THE GOOD Sync in the 2012 Ford Fiesta offers voice command over music and Bluetooth phones, along with smartphone app integration. The Fiesta's rigid suspension makes the car feel very maneuverable.

THE BAD The ride can feel a little harsh, and the engine makes a tortured whine at high rpms. Onboard navigation is not available.

THE BOTTOM LINE Sync and AppLink give the 2012 Ford Fiesta an impressive techie edge, while the body design and decent fuel economy lend to overall practicality, but the car does not punch above its class in comfort.

In terms of overall safety and reliability, the Focus has very high ratings. It's small, yet roomy, stylish car, which handles like a champ. It stands out for its dynamic style, advanced technologies and sleek accessories. If you are looking for fuel efficient, safe car which is always ready to rock out, I would say go for this Fiesta immediately.

P.S. The purple is an excellent color choice for a lady.

You can fit an amazing amount of stuff into the back. I transported a recliner, as my sister called it, a big a-- chair in one once.It was a basic cheap model Fiesta.

It is a good small car, yes.

The thing that would worry me is a three year old car having almost twice the usual mileage on it. A US car should average 12,000 miles a year, so a 3-4 year old Fiesta should have between 36,000 and 48,000 miles on it.

Being that much over even the top number would cause me to worry and to wonder, was the car a rental car.
