Why do my low beam HID headlights suddenly get brighter, then go back to normal?

I installed Xenon HID Low and High beam headlights on a 2017 Ford F150, Lows are the only ones having the issue. The low beams would suddenly get brighter for a half second, then go back to what I assume is normal. Wondering why that would be, and what I could do to fix it.

Set up is 55W ballasts, 6000k bulbs with power relay harness. Got them from XenonHIDs. I've already sent an email for help, but they sent me installation instructions. Want to see what others know while I wait for another answer from them.

Yeah, it's automatic bright adjustments depend on where you are and how dark the area where your truck is at.

I had same issues. It's from Ford too, I don't like it either but can't fix it. Sometime it get high beam to another driver where it shouldn't due to computer sensor from truck confused and made poor judgement on whatever if light should be brighter or not.

People get mad at me for having too bright at their face which I can't fix it. I just ignore them and move on.

That would be caused by a poor quality ballast. Once the arc is lit by the ignitor, it's the ballast's job to keep the arc at the same level. This is pretty common with aftermarket kits. To put it simply they're garbage. Good luck getting the manufacturer/seller to stand behind this.
