Hi so first issue is old worn engines use more fuel than a new engine. So a 24 years old jeep has two issues one they burn more fuel to start with and an worn engine burns even more fuel. The 2 wheel drive may burn less fuel if it is the same engine capacity how even it will still burn fuel due to it's weight.
They're both terrible choices if cost-per-mile is an important consideration.
Neither. They both get LOUSY gas mileage and cost too much for maintenance and insurance. Go find a nice little Japanese 4-door sedan to use for a daily commuter car.
There's no better. It's what you like.
Jeep, all day
Both choices the same.
If it snows in the Winter where you live get the 4x4
- 1995 Ford Taurus with a steering issue. When I turn the steering wheel to a certain spot left or right it will start moving back and forth? According to previous owner the rack and pinion was previously replaced. Steering wheel Is off a little to the right. Any ideas?
- Ford Ranger or Jeep Cherokee? Which 4X4 would be better as a daily driver, transporting drums and guitars to gigs, and towing a 26ft airstream occasionally? I need a truck or SUV that is reliable, cheap to maintain, and built to last. I live in the UK, and don't have much choice because the bigger American trucks like the Ram or Silverado are hard to find over here
- Is the 2004 Ford F150 2WD SuperCab Heritage a small, medium or regular truck? This truck is selling for $6,900 & has 86,000 miles. Is this a good deal if EVERYTHING checks out with the TOTAL inspection? Also, does this type of a truck have any bad reviews?
- I have a 1994 ford f150 XLT supercab with a v8 5.0. It needs a rear axle? I have a 1994 ford f150 XLT supercab with a v8 5.0. It needs a rear axle. On the door It says "Axle 19" and thats the 3.55 ratio axle. But I can't find the actual axle or a picture of the axle online. I got a photo of the differential cover but can't find the same axle online. Does anyone know what the name of the axle might be. Or have any tips on how I could find it online easier
