What type of engine should be put in a 2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor?
I need to know this for a project, probably needing an engine for street. The price doesn't matter.
The stock 6.2L can be brought to around 650-700 HP with forced induction. There's really no reason to go with anything else.
- What type of engine oil and transmission fluid should i use for a 72 ford maverick? I bought a 4 door, straight 6 cylinder 72 maverick for $500, (it wasn't runnin is why it was so cheap), just got it runnin, (i replace the fuel filter & fuel pump), it needs an oil change and it need transmission fluid and i wanna know what type of oil and transmission fluid to buy for it
- What engine type does the 2005 Mercury Monterey (Ford) van have? Is it a Nissan engine? Looking to buy a 2005 Mercury Monterey Van. I was told it has a Nissan engine by a friend. However, I can't find anything stating that. Also, what are they known for, as far as, issues/problems? I want to know what I getting into? Any other information including what I'm seeking appreciated.
- Should I buy a Ford Raptor? I have wanted a Ford Raptor since it first came out in 2010, now I can just barely afford a nice used 2010 (50k or less miles). I go from saying "F it, I'm only going to live once lets do it", to "Its a lot of money, more gas than my Honda (double) and more insurance, not worth it". This truck was made for me though, I'm 50/50 right now. Talk me into or out of it!
- I need to put a different engine in my 1982 Ford Ranger Lariat and I don't know what to put in it? It's the biggest engine you could get at the time in those trucks, so it is a v8, I just don't know the exact size. Since the engine is pretty much dead that's in it I was wondering if almost any v8 could go in it's place or if it has any specific engine that has to go it in. Also any good suggestion for a good engine would be great.
