What is the name of this hose on my 95 f150?
Ford 1995 f150 5.8L 351 Windsor. This hose adopted a pinhole leak (which i lazily tried to patch with silicon to no avail) while changing the water pump. It leads from the water pump to the thermostat housing. My guess would be it is a bypass hose of some sort but i'm unsure. I'm trying to find a replacement but without knowing the name i can't. Here is a picture of it.
That is the heater bypass hose, it goes from the front of the intake manifold (or thermostat housing in this case) to the water pump so the coolant will flow through the heater core when the thermostat is closed, it creates a pump loop for the heater.
Upper radiator hose.
- What is this hydraulic hose? Does anyone know what this hydraulic hose is and where I might be able to find it for sale? Its to an old ford tractor believed to be model 753.
- What did you name your mustang or what is your mustangs name? I just bought a 2006!dark blue Ford Mustang and I named it Sally. She's named after the first bar I ever went to which is called Mustang Sally's, and it happen to be my favorite bar. What did you name yours or what is yours named?
- How to remove this clamp on coolant hose? I have a '94 ford tempo. I want to replace this hose but i have no idea how to get this weird white clamp off. Can someone help?
- Can't find the exact heater hose I need? I have a Ford F150 and the heater hose under the intake has a hole in it. I can find a hose similar but not the same. I'm assuming the engine has been swapped. It's supposed to be a 2003 4.6 but the hose for that is missing a piece that is supposed to attach to the throttle body. Any ideas on how to find the hose I need? I've searched 2003 +/- 2 years.
