Truck is a lot slower than usual?

Here lately I've noticed my truck being pretty sluggish. When I floor it it take like 15 seconds to get to about 70. It's a 2008 Ford F-150 FX4 with a 5.4 triton v8. I've seen people online with a stock getting like 4 or 5 seconds 0-60 but I'm not getting anywhere near that. I've replaced the fuel filter so it's not that, the air filter is clean and basically brand new. The mechanic I brought it to about 3 months ago said he cleaned the fuel injectors so I don't think it's that. I can't think of anything else it could be but I'm worried there's something wrong with it

There are plenty of things that can throw an engine off. First, try a different brand and higher grade of fuel after using up most of your current tank, it could be fuel quality rather than fuel delivery. Then there's the ignition (sparks), emission controls, exhaust, vacuum leaks, compression, transmission issues, or the sensors. Get or borrow a code reader to see if the computer has noticed anything, even if the Check Engine light hasn't been coming on; that can save you a lot of expensive poking around.

Check for trouble codes, O2 sensor live data and fuel trims with a scan tool. Check fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge. Check compression. Check/replace the plugs. If everything checks ok, could be a worn transmission.

I don't think that all of that "replacing O2 sensors" and "replacing fuel pumpls" is necessary.

Just put some sort of fuel system cleaner or fuel injector cleaner in with your gas next time you fill up. The combustion chamber and fuel injectors are probably just dirty.
