Why are pickup truck owners so brand loyal and hate on all other trucks?

I own a 2011 ford F150 with a lift, bigger tires, some engine work, and other goodies. I love my truck but I've had it for 9 years so I'm ready for something else. I'm looking at all manufacturers and leaning towards a Chevy 1500. I couldn't care less if I end up with another fire or not.

Why are others so brand loyal? A ford owner will only own ford for life or a Chevy owner will be Chevy for life. They won't even consider another brand and hate on all other trucks for no reason. I don't understand.

Dash lights and truck starting?

Okay so I have a 2001 Ford F-150 with 14k miles on it. It didn't start or anything at first so the mechanic replaced the gem module and the inside fuse box it ran great I parked it and it did the same thing no start. No dash lights. No fuel pump the doors were going crazy locking and unlocking by themselves. But! The dimmer switch in the car if I slide that all the way up until it clicks EVERYTHING WORKS?! The truck will start my dash lights up but my dome lights are always on. I really have no idea what it could be and if anyone has any advice on what it could be or what I could do I'd appreciate it thank you.

Truck gear stuck in Park uphill?

My 2002 Ford F150 is stuck in Park up a hill and the gear will not budge. Is there a way to resolve the issue without getting it towed?

Car electrical issues?

I have a 2001 Ford F-150 crewcab. The truck died while I was driving and the dash lights went crazy the speedometer went nuts the doors lock and unlock on their own. So I don't know if a dead battery is just causing the system to go nuts. Or maybe a bad ground someone. Any help would be great thank you.

1985 Ford F-150 300 inline 6 cranks but won't start. How do I fix this?

New ignition control module, solenoid, rotor cap, battery ends. Checked wiring for shorts & fuses. Cleaned carburetor. Starter & alternator good. Exhaust clear. Fuel line delivering fuel. Plugs gapped right. Frustrated as hell & need some solid advice from someone who knows these old trucks well please.
