Is the 2004 Ford F-150 a reliable truck?
I'm about to buy this truck. It has 128,000 miles. Would I be able to get 200,000 miles out of it, considering it's been well maintained? It is typically a reliable truck?
How does it test drive?
A) What written proof do you have that it is well-maintained? Appearance and hear-say do not constitute reliable evidence.
b) What evidence do you have that the vehicle hasn't been driven hard and treated roughly by the previous owner(s)?
c) Why can't you do a simple internet search for the reliability of that vehicle?
d) For what it's worth, I've got an F-150 with 338,000 miles on it. I've had to repair or replace every major component on it at least twice in 18 years.

- What is a good, cheap, RELIABLE used truck for hauling a trailer? (Mowing)? It would be for my mowing and yard work business. It will also be my first vehicle as I turn 16 in a few months. I can afford around $6200 or less. I would prefer that it would last for several years, which is the Most IMPORTANT aspect. Ford Rangers are very cheap, but would they hold up for very long carrying around a trailer with a zero turn mower, push mower, and trimmer?
