Is a Ford F150 a good first car?
I'm a 16 year old guy and I want to buy a car within the next year or so. I have driven an F150 before and I really liked it. I know they are good trucks. I want a 2000-03 F150 Lariat (supercrew). It will be 4X4 so it can handle deep snow better. Should I get one? I plan on keeping it for a long time.
Added (1). I plan to keep it for as long as I can. I prefer trucks over cars.
If you can get them cheap yes, though they aren't the best on gas, but if your gonna haul stuff, drive somewhat offroad, throw stuff in the bed, or keep it a long time then yes.
but if it is a temp car that will most likely see road a 95% of the time, id recommend a FWD manual(cheaper and more fun) car. Decent in light snow, or a AWD vehicle, they can handle snow and ice like aryton senna handled a F1 car.
- Is a 2008 Ford Taurus X a good first car? I'm a 16 year old guy and I want a 2008 Ford Taurus X Limited AWD as my first car. I need AWD for snow. How reliable are they? Will it last? Does it have transmission problems? Taurus X. Not the little car. The SUV. I want the MDX but, it takes premium fuel and that costs too much. Outback doesn't have a third row seat.
- I'm in high school and about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car So far I have looked into ford mustangs, I have a choice between a 2007 ford mustang gt with a 8 cylinder motor with automatic transmission, or I can get a 2013 mustang v6. My question is which of the two cars is a faster and louder car cause I would like to show it off and have heads turn by its engine as I drive off on the street. Thank you very much about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car?
