I scanned my F150 computer and a code for the engine oil temperature sensor, where is this sensor located and where can I buy a replacement?
It is a 2005 Ford F-150 with the 5.4L Triton engine, has 175K miles
Apparently it is on the side of the oil pan - recommended (in thread above) is to disconnect and reconnect the connector and reset the CEL.Before buying a new sensor.

The garage then took that fuel sensor out and put it back in the car it was from and it was working. What could be the problem?
