I have a 1992 Ford F-150 Custom. When I start it it has a steady Alarm-Like sound for about 10 seconds. Engine light on too. Any Ideas?

The truck only has 90,000 miles so it's not got to many.

If you don't or a friend doesn't have one go to AutoZone they will let you use there code reader see if anything comes up

Steady "Alarm-Like" sound for about 10 seconds - put your seatbelt on.

Engine light on - check your oil level and be sure you are using the correct grade of oil for the season.

Hi so it is still an old truck designed to last only 7 years.

  • Bubbling/Gurgling sound a for a few seconds after car is shut off? Ok, so, I have a 2007 Ford Taurus SE. I just had to have the head gaskets replaced due to the engine overheating and blowing them, the car has been running fine since, but, now, any time I go 15 miles or more, and return home, for a few seconds after I shut off the car I can hear a Bubbling/Gurgling sound behind the glove box on the passenger side. I have read and some say it might be trapped air… Any ideas? Is this a serious problem?
  • Restoring old Ford Transit. Can't get engine to start. Any ideas please? Friend is restoring 1976 Transit Diesel. Dry stored and in excellent condition. Re-conditioned injectors, clean fuel. Engine turns over valve-gear working (belt intact). Compression, fuel at injectors, no air in system engine turning over with new battery. Apparently no heater plugs on this engine (2.4). Tried eze-start just 'coughs' but will not actually start. At wits end! Any ideas please?
  • My buddy has a 99 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 that is leaking oil from rear passenger wheel. Any ideas on why? The brake cover is not pushed all the way against the hub. There's a half inch gap between them. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. So it has nothing to do with the wheel bearing?
  • Is it bad to have check engine light on for too long? Trouble code P1450: Unable to bleed up fuel tank vacuum? My check engine light came on in my 2015 Ford Focus SE a couple days ago and I went to autozone to see what the problem was, and it said it was trouble code p1450 and it's unable to bleed up fuel tank vacuum, and the solution is to replace evaporative emissions. I won't have any money to go get it fixed until Christmas, which I'm supposed to be spending in Chicago and I'm driving 6 hours. Is it safe to drive 6 hours straight and wait about a week to get this fixed?
