How much in mechanic costs am I looking at?
I have a 2004 Ford F-150 pick up, and it needs the rear leaf springs replaced, about how much on average does it cost to do that?
Also if my right blinker isn't working, like the one on the mirror and inside blinks but the one on the back doesn't, it just needs a bulb replaced correct?
Not sure I have ever heard of an F150 needing new leaf springs - what are symptoms?
Probably a bulb for the blinker issue (simplest - cheapest - easiest = most likely).
Have to agree with CB, leaf springs are virtually indestructible by the average user. I'd question that diagnosis.
It started out as like a popping noise, like when I got out or just driving slowly, now there's like a squeek or screech along with it
- Looking for your opinion So I'm a mechanic i replace my head gasket on my 1996 ford ranger 2.3 gasket the head bolts the hole 9 yards I torqued the head 51 to 90 ft pounds and the sequence was 51 to 60 to 80 90 so I don't know if i should re torque head bolts or leave it? I'm afraid if i torque them again one will break what do you think paul?
