How do you program 2 different vehicle built in openers to a garage door?
I just programmed the built in automatic garage door opener in my husbands truck today. Now the built in one in my van is not working. Can you have 2 cars programmed at the same time and if so how do I do it? One is a 2010 Ford F-150 and the other is a Chrysler town and country.
Please see owner's manual. The usual way for this is to change the program in the vehicle, not the one in the opener. Two [or more] vehicles should be able to have same code
I just did that for a customer of mine and had to program them from the opener using the program button on it. Most openers can handle multiple vehicles/remotes and are setup that you press the program button on it until the LED light blinks a series of blinks to show it's ready for programming/receiving… Then press the remote button on one vehicle or remote fob until the light stops blinking or blinks again… Then press the program button again to save it. Repeat for a second vehicle/remote. Check the operators manual for your specific opener or online instructions or call the 1-800 tech hotline for the opener company and they can usually walk you through it.
- Why do car companies sell in different countries under different names? Why are companies like Chevrolet selling their cars under names like Holden in Australia? I'm not sure if Chevrolet sells in Australia but I do think they do. If they already sell in Australia, what's the point of selling the same thing under Holden? Another example is some Ford cars are sold under Lincoln, and Chevrolet sells the same thing under GMC. Buick and Opel? What's with this?
- Is it possible to get a vehicle without a key fob or remote and program one to it? I'm curious because I'm unsure. Is it possible of I have a 2003 Ford Ranger that has 2 keys only to be programmed and have a key fob or remote to lock and unlock the truck? Is it possible to get a remote that locks and unlocks the truck like most new vehicles have?
- If you were driving a vehicle at 120mph (200km/h), what is the likelihood that you would die? If you were driving a Ford Ranger pick up truck and you ran into something, and you were driving 120mph or 200km/h, would you die?
- Which vehicle would you choose if given to you as a gift? 1) 2003 Mercedes Benz ML 350, mpg 14/17, tan metallic, tan leather, AWD, tint, 130,000 miles, mint condition, like new 2) 2003 Ford Mustang GT, mpg 16/23, bright red, black leather, RWD, 98,000 miles, mint condition, like new.
