Can I put a diesel in my 2014 ford f150?

Can I get an old diesel car, and put it in my f150 ? I would have to add turbos for more power of course, but is it possible

Why in the world would you want to do that

Do you have the experience, the time and the MONEY to do the work? If you have to ask on THIS forum, I'm guessing that the answer is NO! If you want a diesel powered truck, just sell the truck you have now and BUY ONE that came from the factory with the engine you want.

The engines from old diesel cars don't have much torque. The engine you have now probably has more.

Yes you can! I wouldn't advise it though.

Possible? Yes

Remotely cost effective? No

Theoretically.

Haha. No

I would go with a 6BT. My son stuck one in a 1 ton Chevy dually.

Sure, you can do anything you can afford to do! I can stick a jet engine in one if you want!
