Buying advice with 1990s Ford f150s?
I'm looking to buy a Ford f150, and I've been looking at ones from the 90s on Craigslist, because I like the body style and they're cheap. I'm somewhat concerned about the price though, are there issues with these trucks? They typically sell with around 100,000 miles on them in the $3,000 range.
They have weak head gaskets, intake gaskets and prone to having the computer control brain fritz out at the connections. Though you may like the smooth looks? That smooth bed won't fit a 4X8 plywood sheet either. IE: Home repair/work truck problems. Electric window motors little gear boxes chew themselves up too.
Any $3000 vehicle with 100K+ is gonna have issues.

Tags, plates, and insurance right?
