Ac not blowing cold?
I have a 2001 Ford F-150 cat crew cab and when I charged my ac it was blowing cold and now it will only get cold if I have my foot on the gas. And sometimes it doesn't even get cold anymore just hot what do I need to replace
Possibly a cabin air filter, assuming your truck has one. I don't think they were common until 2005.
Sounds like it is not properly charged and can't build enough head pressure to liquify the refrigerant.
If it was blowing cold, WHY did you charge it! That's Really DUMB and you probably OVER-Charged the system and blew a seal. If you don't know what you're doing, STOP DOING IT and find a REAL mechanic who can fix your system properly. It's much cheaper to have it done right the first time rather than having to fix your mistakes.
Go to an AC shop and have them find the leak.
- Why is the A/C on 2002 Ford Taurus is not blowing cold air My freon is fine but when I have the A/C on max the motor engages intermittently. Should the motor run constantly while the A/C is on high? If it doesn't, any idea what could be wrong? Coincidentally, a squeal from the belt started when I started to use the A/C. It squeals when I accelerate, whether the A/C is on or not.

Last night at roughly 25-30 degrees I drove it approx. 10 miles occasionally turning heater/defrost on to try to defrost windshield some and upon returning home it sounded like boiling water under the hood.
- Vehicle overheating/ AC stops blowing? I have a 1996 ford ranger and it recently started giving me this issue. In park, my AC blows fine, but when I take off it'll stop blowing all together and my truck will start overheating. My AC will kick on from time to time and blow for a couple seconds, but when I give it the gas, it'll go back to not blowing at all.
- Changed ford ka heater control valve. Still blowing hot air? My car was blowing got air constantly when off or on cold dial. Iv changed the heater control valve twice and now it still blows hot but then does work at times (blows cold on cold). What now?
