Which is more reliable an '06-'09 Ford Explorer or '06-'09 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Trying to decide whether to go with a Grand Cherokee or a Ford Explorer now. It would be a 2006-2009 model year for either of them. I read tons of reviews online, but you can't always rely on that info. Just don't want issues like my tranny in my 2011 Ford Escape… That was hell!
So you have read "tons" of reviews that you can't rely on and then you come here! You expect something different?
- Should I get a Ford Ranger, or a Jeep Cherokee (XJ)? I'm shopping for a 1st car. I can't deside if I want to get a Ford Ranger or Jeep Cherokee! What do you think is better, and why? I would use my car for offroading, daily transportation, hauling wood to my camp, hunting, etc. I have a budget of around $3,000. I plan on keeping this car for a long time.
- Ford Ranger or Jeep Cherokee? Which 4X4 would be better as a daily driver, transporting drums and guitars to gigs, and towing a 26ft airstream occasionally? I need a truck or SUV that is reliable, cheap to maintain, and built to last. I live in the UK, and don't have much choice because the bigger American trucks like the Ram or Silverado are hard to find over here
- I want to buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee, is it a good deal? My parents presented me with a Jeep Patriot in the year 2011, now that I have a job I'm interested in purchasing a Jeep Grand Cherokee. My father owns a Ford Explorer, and my mother owns Hyundai Tucson.
- 2005 Jeep Cherokee OR 2010 Ford Explorer to tow boat cross country? I need help choosing my next vehicle. I will be moving from VA to CO in a month, which means that I will be towing my 18ft Bowrider that whole way. Currently I'm looking at a 2005 Jeep Cherokee Laredo with 116,000 miles priced at 8500, and also a 2010 Ford Explorer with 113,000 miles for 7500. Which would be the wiser more reliable choice? Any other vehicles I should be considering in that price range?
