- How to bypass the antitheft on 2004 ford Taurus? Bought a car for a demo off a guy who did not have keys for it. It came from an impound towing place so they gave us only the title and my boyfriend ripped out the ignition and it won't start now by hot wiring it because the anti theft won't let it fire. Anything we can do? Getting a key is not an option because he pulled it all out.

A replacement 5 button fob costs a lot and I have a brand new 4 button fob. Does anyone know if it will successfully program to the vehicle? I'm really only worried about the lock/unlock feature working, not so much the lift gate
