What do I use to clean aluminum rims?
I recently bought a 2000 Ford explorer and the rims are aluminum and they have a gross white oxidized look to them and I was wondering is there anything that can remove that. And is this product something that I can find at a local Auto Zone?
Get Mothers. I believe you can get it at auto zone or wal mart but its awesome! Or a magic eraser. Both work great.

- Best way to clean rims on a 2001 ford mustang gt? So I'm cleaning my dad's mustang in the summer for a huge car show… I already have the automotive soap, quick detailer, carnauba wax, claybar etc… But no rim cleaner because I'm sorta on a budget now that I spent a bunch… What would you do to clean the hell out of some rims? I have a 2001 ford focus ZTS and a rear metal brake line cracked and i've tried flaring new metal brake lines but my cheap flaring kit doesn't seem to handle metal lines and was wondering if copper or aluminum would be easier to flare? Can I use copper or aluminum lines on my car? What're the pros and cons?
