What and why does the wrench li h t come on?
2006 Ford Explorer 4.0 v6 engine.
The light comes on when you first turn on the engine it stays on for maybe 4 four minutes and then it turns off. The explorer runs good I haven't noticed any changes or anything wrong with it what can be causing this wrench li h t to come on?
Hi it is the built in indicator of needing a service.
That light is usually maintenance light. It can be reset look in your owners manual or google it.
Overdue for a service
- Why would you think my 2008 Ford H 53 chassis Motor home engine randomly cut off and the ABS light come on? Ford Triton V10 when heading up a hill sometimes the engine will cut out and the ABS light on the dash comes on and goes out. The engine continues to run and we get home just fine. Seems like power is getting cut off or something.
- 2007 ford fusion wrench light and abs light on So only when I put the car in reverse and start backing up my traction control light and ABS light and wrench light come on. I went to auto zone no codes come up. It goes out when I drive but as soon as I go in reverse it comes on. Anyone know what it could be thanks.

- What does the orange wrench symbol mean on my 2016 Ford Fiesta? I was driving my car home from work and a wrench icon came on. The car drove regularly and I'm aware that I'm due for an oil change. I'm going to take it to the auto shop tomorrow but I'm reading online that the wrench means there's an issue involving a power train malfunction… What is that? Is it possible it's just warning me that I need an oil change?
