I need an audio aux input cable for a 2013 Ford explorer. (Cell phone as input)?

I bought one on Amazon and the sound only worked on the passenger side… Anything I need to look for with these things?

I thought all aux cords were the same. I've used my aux cord in different types of cars (one was actually a ford explorer, lol). There may have been a shortage in that particular cord.

  • No aux input on 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid? I just rented a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid and there doesn't seem to be a hole for the aux cable? I opened the center console and there's a white hole, a yellow hole, and red hole. The aux cable doesn't fit into any of them. What's going on here? Is there any place else I can find it? There's no one to help me at this time. The car rental locations close by are closed and I have a 6-hour drive ahead of me through the middle of nowhere.
  • How to turn on the AUX input on a Ford Focus 2014? So all manuals say to press the "aux" button but there isn't one. I found the actual input but all the buttons to the left are "radio, media, phone, sound, menu"
