Yer burnt. You need a new tranny.
It will be liable to break up if you drive it and pieces of transmission will join you in the cab at high speed
Broken parts are not to be argued with.
No fuse will help that. You can remove the front driveshaft but if the t-case has a problem you'll still have a problem. Rear driveshaft is still turning the output shaft on the transmission. So either its in the t-case or the transmission. Find local shop at ATRA.COM for more help

- What transfer case with a c6 transmission? I have a 1981 Ford f150 that has a c6 transmission bolted up to a 302. I'm currently swapping a 1991 Ford Ranger 4x4 from a 2.9l to a spare 5.0/302 motor that I have in my shed. I was wondering if I could put the c6 transmission on the ranger? Also if I can what transfer case to use with it?
- How to put the wiring harness back on a 93 ford ranger for the tail lights after I put the bed back on? How do I put the wiring harness back on a 93 ford ranger for the tail lights after I put the bed back on?
- I have 1998 Ford Windstar as of now when I put in drive/reverse it won't move. It just revs. The car starts up fine? It started while I was driving down the road and I pressed the gas to go a little faster and my rpm went up to 4 and went down. I have an automatic too. There's no burnt smell in my transmission fluid stick/tank. I just left the gas station before this happened if that helps. Any ideas? Someone suggest my second/reverse band and I have never heard of it.
