2000 ford hard to start when hot? - 1

Added (1). I have a 2000 Ford Explorer that will not start when hot (after driving it for an hour).
Any ideas what causeing that?

Normally yes

Thanks for telling us. Did you have a question to ask?

Nope. Mines just fine when hot but thanks for your concern.

Check fuel pressure when engine is hot with a gauge. Fuel pump is likely dying. Check for spark too. Could be a bad crank sensor.

Hi so what about having it serviced properly.

Probs cos it's old af?

I guess the fuel sender is basically the fuel pump. But I'm not absolutely sure. It was only intermittent when it first started. The hesitation, stalling when warm got worse and worse to the point where when I stopped at a light the truck would sputter. Get a gauge and measure the pressure at the rail after you have driven it for over 10 miles.

Yea

The motor might be done

Possible.
