Which car is better?

I don't really know much about cars but I was given the choice between a 2005 Cadillac Escalade 6.0 with 230k miles and a 2002 Ford Expedition 5.4 with 200k miles both were well taken care of and have no rust I'm just not sure which is a better choice what do you think?

Assuming you're getting the choice of one of them for free, I'd go with the newer one: the Cadillac Escalade. If you have to pay, I wouldn't take either one.

Both vehicles get so-so fuel mileage.
The Ford would be cheaper for service/parts so from that I'd choose the Ford.

I would not take either one. They are too old and have too many miles on them.

I'd pick the Ford

Neither are good choices.

If you are going to get something that old & high miles, it should be Honda, Toyota or Mazda checked by a mechanic.

So all you know about the cars is that they have no rust. That's not much. Pick one and take it to a professional mechanic and have it inspected for problems before you buy. Otherwise, you take a huge risk buying either of these large old high-mileage vehicles.

Neither.

Four days ago you were asking about "my 2002 Ford Expedition" that was 5 quarts low on oil, so it appears that you were lying about it being your vehicle. A month ago you asked about spending $1000 for the Escalade. So, what's the real deal here? Do you own the Expedition or not? You've been asking a lot of questions about clapped out high mileage cars for over 2 years. So you're either a troll or a dumbass without a clue.

Used car buyer troll strikes again.

Are these your only choices? Neither are much good

Parts for the Ford will be way cheaper.

  • Which car brand is better, Acura or Mercedes-Benz? My mom is wondering what kind of car would be good to replace her Mercury Grand Marquis. She was considering the Lincoln MKS but after we heard it wasn't that great of a car (and all our Ford products have been unreliable) so my mom is considering either an Acura RLX or Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Looking at used ones, they're about the same price, but we might be able to get a better deal on the Acura. Which car would you get?
  • Which is better? 1995 ford ranger which is stick or a 2004 Ford Escape? I'm a 16 year old boy and I'm lucky enough to have those two cars to choose from. Both have high mileage, like 350k on the ranger and 250k for the escape. Both have been serviced to a T. I really don't know which car would be best in the Long run. Meaning I don't know which one is most reliable and which one would be best for me and my use of maybe hauling my friends around. So which one do you think is the best choice?
  • Which is a better used car to get? Should I get a Honda Accord or a Ford Mustang for a used car? I only drive around 10 miles a day, at the most. Which one is better overall? Easier/cheaper to maintain? I know the Accord would be better with insurance. I'm trying to get a V6 Accord, or either engine size Mustang. For the year, at least 1996, so it has O.B.D. 2. I want something around the mid 90s-mid 2000s. Oh, and I'm 25, if that would have an effect on the insurance.
  • Which car is the better car all around? Ok, i'm looking to get a new car but after all, this is the hardest decision to make… Between the 2015 Ford Mustang. 2015 Camaro and 2015 Dodge Challenger… All v6 base models, i'm not trying to spend too much… I'm leaning towards the Mustang because our family gets a 2,500 discount on Fords and they have a rebate going on right now… If i wanted the Mustang now, I would only have to pay around 19,800 for a 26,000 car… Suggestions please
