Is it dangerous to drive a vehicle with this many miles/km?

My grandparents gave me their 2003 ford expedition eddie bauer as my first vehicle last week. It has 584,000 KM, but it seems to run smooth. I don't think i've been in a vehicle with that many, is it safe?

Added (1). thanks for the answers, my grandpa has put most of the mileage on it and he's very particular about keeping everything maintained so i think it's not a problem

How to put Ford expedition in neutral without key?

I lost the key to my 2005 Ford expedition, but now I have to tow it. I have a steering wheel column shifter. Where is the shift release located so I can put it in neutral? It's not in my owners manual and I couldn't find the answer on Google or YouTube.

My Ford Expedition won't accelerate past 2500 rpm?

I have a 2002 Ford Expedition 2wd 4.6L V8 180k miles. I noticed when I step on it past 2500 rpm the car will growl as if it wants to accelerate but it won't go any faster. It just makes the noise as if I was revving it and the rpm gauge will go all the way up but it won't go. If I don't step on it past 2500 rpm (which I almost never do) it runs perfectly fine. I just had the transmission rebuilt, but prior to that I wasn't driving the car for over a year. Could that have something to do with the transmission? If so I can take it and my warranty should cover that but I just wanted to know before I go in next week to the shop on my day off.

Ford Expedition Rusted-Out?

We sold our family car (2003 Expedition XLT) back in 2015 because the repares cost more than the car is worth (sold it for $4,800). I was looking for my first car (I'm 17) and I couldn't believe it when I ran across it. They are selling it for $1,300 but it has sat on the lot for 2 years. The motor back in 2015 still ran (and it atill does) and it is just like when we sold it. Here is the problem. It rusted out, and that is why we sold it. I don, t remember (nor does my father) what part it was. He says it was like the rocker panel or somthing in the front right that connected the frame to the body and couldn't be repaired. Anyone know what that part is called? I figure I can take the body and motor from it and buy a totaled Expedition for $500 for the frame and make a FrankenFord. Anyone know what part It would be?
