What Kind of truck do I buy?

I currently have a 2000 ford expedition v8 trition. I'm looking to buy a pickup truck and need something with similar power. I also need a truck that is able to pull a heavy trailer with a car on it. Can I get away with a f150 or should I be looking at an f250 or f350?

I've pulled bobcat trailers for years with diesel f-250's, I had an f-350 diesel which was great for pulling but rode like a grain cart when nothing was hooked to it.

F150 4X4 Supercrew with a 5.4L and towing package can handle up to 11-12K pounds. F250 superduty takes that number way up.

An F150 with the V-8 engine and factory towing package should be able to handle towing a trailer with ONE car on board. If you want to tow something bigger, then you might want to go with an F250.

I would suggest you look into a diesel engine.

make sure you have strong, good brakes with plenty of ventilation to the front rotors. Then you will be fine.

  • What kind of car should I buy? With a budget of about 2,500 for my first car, I'm deciding between a 2002 Mazda Protege with about 150,000 miles, a 2004 Suzuki Forenze with about 135,000 miles, a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix with about 140,000 miles, a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer with about 160,000 miles and a 2001 Ford Taurus with about 130,000 miles. I want a car that is fuel efficient yet stylish, so please leave any suggestions from the cars listed above.
  • Why would people buy a Toyota Hilux when they can buy a better, superior Ford Ranger? I owned a 2010 Toyota Camry and it broke down in 2011 upon reaching 0.6k miles. I treated it like a baby and it failed and disappointed me. My friend also owned a 2008 Toyota Tacoma and it failed to start in 2009 upon reaching 8k miles. And the mechanic said it was impossible to fix. However, my uncle has a 1965 Ford Falcon with over 750k miles on its clock and it still runs like new and he never even changed its oil since he bought it.
  • Need help weighing the pros and cons of what kind of camper van to buy? So I plan on moving down to Nashville and living in a van in the very near future. I'm on the fence between 2. The first option is a 1988 Ford e350 diesel dually ambulance that has been fully converted. Running water, inverter, heat, ac. Pretty much everything in an rv besides a toilet. My second option is getting a cargo van and converting it or just getting one of those conversion Van's. I'm just not sure what my best bet is.
  • What kind of SUV should I buy? I currently have a 2013 Ford Fusion that has given me an array of problems. We're wanting a mid-sized SUV, like a Hyundai Sante Fe Sport, Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4 etc. I don't need high tech or fancy and can't afford the luxury kind. Just one that has good gas mileage, reliable for years to come, easy to drive and one that has clear sight lines. With my current car, I can barely see out of it simply to back up. Also, any suggestions can be a couple years old.
