Is this a good first car? - 1

I'm going to buy this truck next year in 11th grade and keep it all the way through college. It is a 2003-06 Ford Expedition 4WD. I love the styling, size, and height. I have a few questions about it.

-Should I get an Eddie Bauer or Limited?
-Can I make it get 15 mpg city? It already gets 12-13 mpg city.
-What's the highest of miles I should go? 115,000? 150,000? Somewhere in between?

You can't talk me out of getting one. I just want to know which one to get so I can make my choice. Thanks.

Added (1). I like when the 2nd and 3rd row seats are folded down and you have a lot of space. All that space will be perfect when I go to college and move into the dorms. All my stuff will fit into one car.

Added (2). How many miles is too many?

Great to see your a ford person… Any expedition is great, but your in school, gas is $4 a gallon! I've been through high school and college… SUV's are nice not conventional like a car or crossover… Just a thought

1. Get an eddy Bauer edition: the resale value is a tad better than a limited model.
2. You have to drive extremely careful: no heavy gas or brake usage and change the oil every 3,000 miles.
3. Try and get the lowest amount of miles you can, though this may be expensive to afford, it helps with the car's resale value.

You won't get 15 around town, low teens at best and high teens on the highway. You will be on a first name basis with the gas station staff.

  • I'm in high school and about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car So far I have looked into ford mustangs, I have a choice between a 2007 ford mustang gt with a 8 cylinder motor with automatic transmission, or I can get a 2013 mustang v6. My question is which of the two cars is a faster and louder car cause I would like to show it off and have heads turn by its engine as I drive off on the street. Thank you very much about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car?
