1998 ford expedition clicking sound from center console?
I have 1998 ford expedition. I have a clicking noise coming from the center console between the drivers seat an passenger seat. I thought it was the CD changer but I unplugged it and it still makes sound. When I have the rear climate control on it lessens the sound some. I think its related to the rear control. Any ideas? Is there a fuse I could pull at all and which one if so?
Yes its from the inside. Like i said when i turn the rear climate control, it changes the noise from soft to loud
Are you sure the clicking is coming from inside you expedition? And not under it. Could be a u joint.
It's the actuator that controls air flow to the rear seats thru the console. If you put the blower fan on low speed it'll stop. You can go to www.autozone.com and do a free registration then you can go to the repair manual and it'll show you how to. HTH

- My '04 Ford focus makes a clicking sound when I turn the key, what could it be? It's an '04 Ford focus, 4 cylinder 2.3L engine, I got a new battery about 2 months ago. 2 times recently I've gone to start my car in the morning and it makes a weird clicking sound then kicks on. It has been a little cold when it happens and I've noticed the headlights and dashboard lights sometimes dim and go back to normal when I have them on.

- How to remove the bolts under the center console on a 2005 ford f150? These are the bolts that go up into the console for you to use nuts on to bolt the console down. I have tried to use a socket on them but clockwise nor counterclockwise wise seems to loosen them.
