Take it into the shop, are you really so poor that you can't afford basic maintenance on your vehicle, but can afford to ask stupid people online for a solution that probably won't work?
Could be a muffler, but you may want to get a reputable mechanic to check.
Maybe a U-joint; Best have it checked at a garage…
Check the U-joints in the driveshaft
- What are the chances of an old car passing smog test? I have an old Ford ranchero 1978 and I put money into fixing it my mechanic checked out the engine and fixed all the problems and I just need to know does it lower the percentage of passing smog just because it's old
- 1997 Ford Ranger 4.0 V6 won't shift into drive after being driven. Takes longer than should to shift into drive when first started? It will go in reverse fine. First thing in the morning when I leave for work, it will shift into drive on it's own, but takes a bit longer than it should. After getting it warm, won't shift into drive at all. I can shift down to 1st or 2nd, then back into drive and it will "pop up" into drive within a second or 2. I also have a ODB2 error P1744 (Torque Converter circuit).
- Drove over hill too fast and car is making a thumping noise? I have a 2003 ford focus. Today I was driving and went to make a turn fast and went up a hill and it hit my car and made a loud noise. When pulled up my car started making a thumping noise I thought that it was the tire but when I popped the good and accelerated while in drive the engine was moving up it's still running fine but moving and making a thump when accelerating. What could be wrong with it please help.
