How to make a '94 Ford Escort look cool?

I've been saving and saving trying to buy a VW but its taking too long and this lady just offered to sell me a god ugly '94 Ford Escort. I never thought I would buy one but its only $500! Just needs a tune up, how much are those btw? Its a two door, white no dents, it looks in decent shape, its just so ugly haha I want to fix it up but how in the world can you make a '94 Ford Escort look cute? Haha

Are they all just interested in condition?

I go to high school continuation type i like it so far its great, and since the first day i moved over i had been driving a 2002 ford escort sedan 4 door black it was pretty old with new engine job done on it, and kids at my school would laugh at it ask why i was driving that they would take pictures of it on put it on socials and make fun of it, nobody in my school has nice cars at all but they werent too old either.
Now on the last few weeks of school my parents got me a 2014 toyota camry sedan metallic gray brand new only had 16 miles since it was fabricated and i started driving it now kids would ask me for rides, saying its nice, and other stuff are they just being a*****es i don't give anyone a ride but now they want to step on my car and stuff should i just ignore them.

Ps. All the kids in my school don't have nice cars they all have suv's, bmw, dodge but 2005 and down to 1990's i'm the only one with a new 2014 car dead serious honest its funny but i like my new

Should I be concerned about a valve seat failure in soon-to be mine 2000 Ford Escort SPI?

I'm getting a 2000 Ford Escort LX 2.0 SPI in August. And I've heard lots of horror stories about the valve seat failing. It was 135,000K on it, and from the few months I've been around it, it has been well maintained and has not had many issues. It does not even vibrate terribly as I've heard these engines do.

So how concerned should I really be about a valve seat failure?

New Gerald Ford Class USN Aircraft Carrier Achilles heal?

I just read an article about our new 13 billion dollar aircraft carrier having a host of electricity based upgrades like the new "EMALS" launch system which is based on electricity instead of steam powered and the ability to generate more electricity then previous Nimitz class carriers but my question is what good is having all that if an EMP makes your 13 billion dollar aircraft carrier unable to launch aircraft and essentially turns it into the most expensive parking lot in history? Why are all of our new incredibly expensive projects ignoring the threat of an EMP yet becoming ever more dependent on electronic systems? Seems like one well placed nuke/pinch could make over 100 billion dollars of USN craft (carrier + escort vessels) virtually useless in one fell swoop why are we not addressing this potentially devastating weakness?

Is there a paint stripper that won't harm ABS plastic or fiberglass bumpers?

I'm replacing the bumper on a 2001 Ford ZX2. The old one that is still on the car, the middle got destroyed in a hit and run.

Found one in surprisingly good shape at the junk yard for $33. It is a lighter shade of dark blue. I can't figure out if it is ABS or fiberglass.

I know that fiberglass usually has visible fibers, however, this one doesn't have any type of scrape/cut/damage on it that would tell me such a thing.

So, I was wondering if there's a good liquid paint stripper out there that is safe on both types?

Added (1). The donor car was a 1998 ZX2 (all years from '98 through '03 are compatible), so I have reason to believe it was likely the original bumper. On the inside of it, there appears to be dealer/manufacturer marks/numbers and such.
