Left side (front and back) blinker/brake light issue 2001 ford escort any ideas?

So, my blinkers do not work on my left side (inside looking out), and neither does my brake light. Two things to note: 1. The arrow indicator on my dash stays solid, not blinking 2. When my hazards are on, both blinkers work, but I forgot to check if my rear blinkers work during my hazards flashing.
I've tried figuring this out with online research, my guess (I'm no expert on this at all obviously), is my rear brake light could vw a bulb and the the rest is a fuse/relay problem.
Side question - anyone know roughly how much this would cost to fix by a mechanic?

One or more of the bulbs on the left side is probably burned out. Your dash indicator staying on is a prime indication of that. One being out will prevent all on that side from flashing. Since the brake light on that side is out, maybe both bulbs have burned out in the left rear. A really hard bump in a pothole could do that to old, fragile bulb filaments.

You should be able to fix it yourself. It's not hard to remove the lens and change bulbs. It's probably not the flasher relay (hard to get to under dash) because I think they all used the same relay and none of the turn signals and hazards would flash. Same with the fuse. It controls all of them.

Sound like your car might be a little low on blinker fluid. Auto zone usually sells it.
