What is the screw length to mount the liftgate lock actuator on a 2010 ford escape - 1

No idea (I don't have one to measure).
But the rule used is that thread engagement needs to be one times the diameter of the bolt. Which is the thickness of the nuts that fit the bolt (or screw). Measure the thickness of the parts being bolted in and add what ever the bold diameter is to the figure.

The same size as the other screw.

  • Where can I get a door actuator? I have a Mercury Villager 2002. I need to replace a door actuator but unfortunately Ford does not make the part any more. I do not know how to work on cars and to find things at junk yards. How can I go about getting the part? My mechanic says he can't find the part…
  • Type of TORX screw used with a Mercury Cougar '99 shifter? A seemingly simple issue with a bit of a tricky solution. I'm looking for the type of TORX screws used with for the shifter gaitor of a 1999 Ford/Mercury Cougar. I'm looking at the assembly diagram, but it doesn't shed any light sadly
  • If i put bigger rims on my car will that somehow screw up something with the car? I have a 2002 Ford Explore XLT V6 engine. It currently has the original 15' rims but i wanted to upgrade them to a 24' chrome. I been told that it will screw up the bar that connects them the wheel and after a few months the top of the wheels will move inward and that would screw everything up. Is it true? I know that the speedometer would get messed and i would have to fix that so far.
  • How to unplug a car door actuator? I have a 98 ford falcon and the central locking doesn't work, the locks automatically go down and up again. The same happens if I do it manually. I think it is an actuator problem. How do I unplug the actuator so that I can manually lock the doors (I'm ok being able to just manually lock them so don't want to replace the actuators).
