- Is Ford a good, reliable car manufacturer? I remember growing up in the 90s, I would always hear my parents say to stay away from US car manufacturers and buy Japanese cars like Honda and Toyota. Is Ford a lot better now? I'm specifically looking at model years 2010-2014. Anything compact, fuel efficient, and affordable. Something like a Fiesta or a Focus.
