I have a 2001 ford escape and when I press the brakes nothing happens, Yes there's brake fluid in it?

I was coming from town when I was trying to make a stop and I has to push all the way to the floor. I do have fluid in it and brakes does not pump up

There are rubber brake fluid hoses that connect to the wheels. They are prone to rupturing if not replaced after a few years.Look for brake fluid dripping from one of the inside wheels, especially a front.

If fluid ever was empty or low and you added brake fluid, you may have air in brake system and they will have to be bled!

Break piston rubber worn out probably.
