Change the tranny fluid and filter, and replace the modulator.
Go to the dealer and find out if they have any PCM "reflashes" to take care of "shift delay" or "shift flare". If you don't go to the dealer for service you likely missed any recalls.
- 2015 Ford Fusion S, 2015 Chrysler 200 LX or 2015 Kia Optima LX? All pretty similarly priced. F and C have 3 year b - b and 5 year power warranty while the K has 5 year 100k everything.
- I own a 2015 Ford Escape with 30,000 miles and runs good. My prior vehicle had over 150,000 miles and I used Gumout Regane high mileage fuel? System cleaner. I still have a bottle of the Gumout and wondering if I used it in the Escape, would the Gumout do any harm to it? I suppose I could wait until I get 75,000 miles on it before using but I'm a 3000-4000 miles a year driver and the Gumout would go bad before using it.
- I have a 2015 Ford Escape 4WD with 4 new Fuzion tires. Less than 3,000 miles. When cold, after setting overnight, the front or back tire on? The passenger side makes a thumping noise as the tire rotates on the roadway at low speeds for about 100-200 yds, then smooths out and the noise goes away. Can't tell if it's the front or rear. They're properly inflated and have good even treadwear. Any ideas what's causing the noise?
