2011 ford escape Rear panel rusting?
I'm buying a ford escape from a private seller, ill be visiting the seller to inspect the car next week. After looking at pictures and talking to the seller, the car APPEARS to be in good condition with exception of the rear passenger side panel that is showing rust, what else should i look for when i visit that might be of concern with regards to the rust?
Look for repaired collision damage. Wavy sheet metal. Paint color may be off. Surface rust is an indication that the part was not painted properly. Check to see if there's rust through.
A 7-year-old car doesn't just start rusting for no good reason, Skippy. I would suspect poorly repaired accident damage
Look underneath the whole car to see how rusty it is.
- Solar panel on Ford E150 van JMC Tiara Package. Van came w own solar setup but its old and solar panel is tiny. Upgradn to 100w panel? Can I use the cables and solar meter etc (setup van came with) to power the renogy 100w panel? Or do I need to get bigger cables etc
- 2002 Ford Explorer Rear End, Can I up grade with better rear end? I need to Up Grade to better Rear End that does not squeal and make noise. What is recommended? Any thing out there?
- Is a 2011 Ford Escape XLT with 155,000 miles on it a good used car to buy? The asking price is? $9,300 cash. Looking for a car that safe, reliable, won't flip when turning on sharp curves, upcoming and maintenance fairly inexperience, and will last a long time. The one thing that I'm weary about with this high is that the miles are extremely high for a 2011.
- Can I replace and instrument panel on a 2008 Ford Escape? I removed my instrument panel to determine what was causing my gauges and dashlights to turn off while driving. After removal it appesars the plug on the back is loose to the board. I don't know how to fix this, but was wondering if I could replace with a different panel myself or does a dealer need to program it?
