What cheap/fun things could I do to an old car?
I have an old 2004 Ford Focus Sedan that I want to do something cool to but keep it on a budget. I've seen videos on home built exoskeleton cars, but I don't have the expertise for that and having someone else do it for me is expensive to my knowledge. Anything else you can think of that would be fun/cheap?

Drive it and treat it well and it can last a long time. Anything "fun" you do to it will just lower its value.
Add dark tint,
Upgrade wheels and tires
Replace the factory radio
Repair old, ripped or worn out interior.
I would mention performance mods but for that car, it's not worth it.
- How old is too old for a truck? I'm looking to buy a box truck and found a 1990 Ford E 350 with 78000 miles on it. Does it matter that it is 27 years old? The owner said I need to replace the oil and tires. What else will need to be replaced? The asking price is $2750

- Good fun practical go anywhere do everything car? So I'm looking for a car that can go anywhere and do anything. Any suggestions? Main interest is something sporty but also lots of room. A few examples that I'm interested in are Ford Focus RS and Subaru WRX STI, but they are a little above my budget, something at or under $30k. I'm not looking to get a WRX, and also preferably 4 wheel drive. Preferably reasonably fast as well.
