What are the requirements for enrolling in a FORD ASSET program?
I just turned 18, I'm very interested in becoming an automotive technician. Eventually I want to become ASE certified. I currently have almost no experience working with cars. The reason being is that I'm the only one in my family that's into the car world and I really don't have friend's in the car world either so I'm going in with little to no knowledge even on very basic stuff.
What should I know before going to the FORD ASSET program?
Can I just go in there with no prior knowledge and they will teach me what I need to know or do they expect you to already know a certain amount out stuff before you even try to attend?

- What are the requirements to work at a dealership selling cars? I'm 18 years old. What are the requirements to work at a car dealership (ex - Honda, Chevy, Ford) as a salesperson?
- Ford taurus, ford focus, ford escort or mercury cougar? Looking for a new used car, anyone know if any of these are bad cars? They're all in the 2000-2005 range I'm leaning towards the focus cause it gets good mileage and has good storage, also I've heard it does alright in snow. Anyone have any bad experiences with any of these cars or have any bad feedback?
- Is it possible to get a vehicle without a key fob or remote and program one to it? I'm curious because I'm unsure. Is it possible of I have a 2003 Ford Ranger that has 2 keys only to be programmed and have a key fob or remote to lock and unlock the truck? Is it possible to get a remote that locks and unlocks the truck like most new vehicles have?
- Can i program a gm remote to my ford mustang along with ford remote that is already programmed? I have a 2005 mustang I have the ford remote that came with car already programmed and working but I have a GM remote that I was wanting to try to program so we can have 2 remotes will this work or am i wasting time thanks for any help.
