How can I play a song on my aux cable on my Ford Edge?

I have a 2010 Ford Edge and I use my Bluetooth sometimes but I also have a light up aux cable that I'm wanting to use. The only thing is, it won't connect. My car has a auxiliary cable input but when I plug it up it won't connect to my car?

Can I possibly get my speeding ticket dismissed?

I recently got pulled over for the first time and received my first ticket by going 70 on a 55 mph freeway. Yes I know I shouldn't have been speeding… I'm hoping I could possibly get my ticket dismissed. I'm trying to find any possible errors that the officer could have made.
and the only thing that struck as odd to me was that he described my 2014 Dodge Charger as a "Charger - Shelby Charger" on the ticket.
Forgive me for I'm not knowledged in car models but I thought that shelbys were soley Ford…
Is this a possible error that he could've made or does this have no help in getting my ticket dismissed?
The officer also didn't asking for insurance or registration but then again I heard he could've ran my plates to get that info…

Can we use Illinois lemon law?

My dad s brand new 16 Ford Edge Sport gave him a low oil light at only 4,400 miles. He took it in and the dealer said that only 2 quarts of oil came out(should have 6 quarts). A week later they get back to us and say they are waiting on a new engine. Either the vehicle came from the manufacturer with only 2 quarts and the dealer failed to do a predelivery inspection or the car actually somehow burnt 4 quarts I of oil in 4.4k miles(doubtful). I'm concerned about it being a refurbished block, the engine replacement being on the Carfax(devalue), and the brand new vehicle just feeling kind of tainted now. I looked into the Illinois lemon law and from what I can see if the dealer has the vehicle for more than 30 business days we can file lemon law for refund or replacement with a new vehicle. There are several terms I'm unfamiliar with.

"Lemon law covers vehicle nonconformities"

"informal dispute settlement procedures

Since the dealer has had the vehicle for a week and a half already and they are still waiting for the engine to be delivered, I would not be surprised if they keep it for more than 30 business days. Do you think we d have a case? Are there steps we should take during these 30 days if we do go that route?

How do you remove scratches from car?

I bought a Ford Edge the other day and it had a good bit of scratches on it. It's a silver car and some of the scratches are black, some are whitish/silver, and some are still silver. Some are rough feeling and others you can barely feel at all. So I'm assuming some are deeper than others. What can I buy to fix this and now do I do it? I was gonna get it fixed at a body shop but I was gonna be too expensive.

Buying a conversion van through CL?

Took at a look at a 98 Ford E150 conversion van today.

Cool van but I have some questions

I took the van to Goodyear to get it checked out and one of the issues was that the "trans line" was "seeping.
He said it wasn't "leaking" but that the line (i guess tube?) was damp and that the transmission fluid was 1 qt low.

The van has 186k miles on it, automatic and the guy is asking $2500, plus 2 new tires, rear break pads, an alignment and an oil change would cost an additional $400+.
After putting it in my name, that is close to the money that I have and I seriously fear a transmission problem, but I need a van like this for long distance travelling (I can make good money on the road, just need another vehicle since my last was flipped).

One other problem was that the front left rotor is "starting to rust on inside edge".

Front right wheel bearing has "a little movement".

Anti freeze is "a little low" and oil is 1.5 quarts low.

So the lights inside worked. The radio worked. The switches worked.
The seats were torn up but the van was overall decent condition inside.

but it was a little dirty inside.
and although not too dirty (I could just scrub it down), I saw about 5 mouse pellets in the drivers cup holder.

Really made me wonder.
Van drove fine to the Goodyear but I felt it was a little "airy" or windy. Sort of hollow sounding? When driving it back.

I wanted to think it over so here I'm asking now.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Ford Edge vs Hyundai Santa Fe?

Does anyone else think that the current Ford Edge looks almost exactly like the current Hyundai Santa Fe? Are they actually a shared platform, or is it just a matter of imitation is the sincerest form of flattery?
