My auxiliary input in my car is not working?

I have a 2010 Ford Edge and it has Bluetooth buts it's aggravating. I bought a aux cord and my car has an aux input and I got my manual out and everything and followed the directions and it still won't connect! Is there a possibly the input is broken?

More likely due to the aux input not being compatible with the phone

  • Where is the Auxiliary Audio Input on a 2014 Ford Fusion SE? I was told it was under the passenger seat somewhere, but can't seem to find it anywhere for the life of me! Checked the dash, middle console, and middle compartment! Anyone got a detailed answer please?
  • No aux input on 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid? I just rented a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid and there doesn't seem to be a hole for the aux cable? I opened the center console and there's a white hole, a yellow hole, and red hole. The aux cable doesn't fit into any of them. What's going on here? Is there any place else I can find it? There's no one to help me at this time. The car rental locations close by are closed and I have a 6-hour drive ahead of me through the middle of nowhere.
  • Car noise diagnosis, input please? Sometimes when making a hard right turn, when the wheel returns to center it makes a rubbing/ grind sound. I'm thinking cv shaft ( don't know if left or right side) no clicking noise like a regular bad cv joint. Inner or outter tie rod end or a wheel bearing. The sound is like a steam boats horn if that helps at all. After a hard right turn after the wheels are straightened it makes the noise. Car is a 2005 ford focus st. Ty in advance
