2007 ford edge vibration?

I have a 2007 Ford edge and at about 35 mph the tack is at 1.5 and starts to jump around and it does a vibration as if I had veered off the road and hit the rivets. It only does it for a second and then goes away anyone have an idea? I took it to the dealership and they said they serviced my transmission but no change… Help!

Sounds like you could have a cylinder misfiring. It could be caused by something called an ignition coil having a short.I've attached a video that shows how to confirm this.

If it turns out you have one or more bad ignition coils order them from the link below. It will likely be half the cost of a local auto parts store

If the tach jumps around, you could be getting an ignition misfire.
Check your plugs and wires.

  • Ford falcon ba mk2 xr6 drive shaft noise and vibration? So I have just removed my tail shaft in My ford falcon ba mk2 xr6 and replaced the centre bearing and uni joint, after I had put it all back in the car, as soon as I try drive over 20km I hear a loud knocking noise and the car vibrates aggressively, what have I done wrong, could it be the cv joint? When I put it back in I didn't really know how to do it and just had a guess.
  • Why does my 2001 Ford Focus SE Wagon have a vibration? I have new motor mounts, new dog bone mount in the rear, new plugs and wires, no check engine lights yet there's this "vibration" when I'm idling.
  • 2010 Ford F-150 4.6l slight vibration when parked/idle? Thank you for reading. Truck has 45k miles, it has a slight vibration I can feel on the brake pedal and door and console when I'm idle and parked. It's a very slight (in and out) shake/vibration. It is not bad or violent shaking, but just enough for me to notice. If I keep the door open and I touch the door I can feel it better. What could it be?
  • 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac 4X4 Re: Vibration/thumping like sound. Drivers front Someone mentioned the transfer case. Someone responded to that inquiry… They said it probably wasn't the transfer case that would lead to a specific side being affected, but that it COULD be the U-joint in the drive axle. Would that be the U-joint that couples the transfer case to the "short shaft"? If so, if I remove the short shaft, should the vibration/thumping stop? Any input will be greatly appreciated!
