What are pros and cons of owing a diesel pickup truck?

So I might get a 2002 ford f-250 7.3 powerstroke diesel, I just want to know the pros and cons of owing a diesel pickup truck and to keep it maintained. Besides the price or the fuel.

Before you buy a powerstroke you MUST watch the videos below.

Buy a Dodge with a Cummins diesel. Better MPG and torque.

A diesel engine develops more torque, works more efficient and the fuel consumtion is lower, the bigger torque is good to have in a truck. The lower fuel consumption spares money and is better to the environment.

disadvantages could be that when buying the vehicle itself, then the diesel could be a bit more expensive but the more someone drives, the more money will be spared in comparison with a fuel vehicle, because the diesel consumes less as written before. Maybe that 2002 ford truck is for a good price.

a diesel engine is heavier, it could be that after a higher mileage (like 82k miles) the wheel bearings and steering in a vehicle with a diesel engine will be worn out sooner than with a fuel engine.
