Truck turning over but not firing? Gas may not be getting to carburetor

The truck is a 1984 Ford F250, 5.8L v8 351c engine. It's been sitting for a few years and I've decided to try and get it running again. When you try to start it, the engine will turn over but it will not fire. If it is sprayed with ether it will try and fire but will not stay running. I've changed the spark plugs, fuel filter, and fuel pump. It was originally thought that the fuel pump was bad, but I replaced that yesterday and it made no difference. Could the gas lines be clogged or gone bad? I'll be replacing the spark plug wires next as they're pretty worn out and would need to be changed anyway, maybe that'll help. Any ideas of what it could be or any tips?

Actual module on the distributor is probably bad and you're not getting spark.

Start simple and go from there… Is there any fuel in the tank? I just bought a vehicle that was advertised as "not running due to electrical problem"… The problem was no fuel in tank!
