I have a 1985 ford f:250 that died on me this morning?
I plugged a light into my cigarette lighter outlet and the truck just died. Nothing is working. Its just dead. The battery has power. I checked that. But literaly nothing has power to it. The lights don't even work.
any ideas on what this might be?
Hopefully you just blew one of the main fuses.
Probably a fuse or two - the clue is that you plugged the light into the lighter socket, which shorted out at least the socket… Look at all the fuses
- I have a 1999 ford ranger, the battery is drained every morning. I traced the drain coming from my left head lamp,? Although the lamp still works but why does it still drain the battery… What do I do? it is the left head lamp that is draining my battery! But why, it still works… Maybe moisture in it?
