2008 Ford F-350 6.4L Powerstroke Resuced Engine Power Problems?
So Started the other day the trucks coolant temp gauge spikes Oild temp gauge shows dead centerno check engine or wrench, message display center showed coolant gauge symbols and says reduced engine power. I pull over **** truck off, get going again does it again. No check engine no wrench no codes. I replaced thermostats Andy did not solve issue.
Any ideas
Check engine temp with a scanner. Could be a bad temp sensor. Pressure test the cooling system for leaks.
Fried engines do not heal by themselves. If the serpentine belt broke and the water pump isn't being driven, that's what will happen. Raise the hood and see if the belt is not there. Do not run this engine until it's fixed or it will be damaged beyond repair. Don't ask Andy to solve this since he failed so far.
- Shifting problems and intake problems? I drive a 1997 ford ranger with a 2.3l automatic. I have recently experienced a hard shifting in my truck even when I'm not on the gas it has problems shifting. And I cleaned my air filter and filter hose that goes to my throttle body and there was transmission fluid in the hose. What can be causing this and how can I fix it or how much will it cost roughly?
- 2008 Ford Mustang clutch problems? I have a 2008 Ford mustang v6 stick that is having a problem. Clutch feel is great and has no problems. You can turn the car on and it runs. But when you put it into gear, nothing happens. Even if you leave it in gear and take your foot off the clutch, it stays running. It won't move at all. Does anyone know the cause?
- Ford Focus 2008 1.6 Engine Lights Flashing/Blinking. Engine shakes when starting up and idle as well. Had smoke coming out yesterday? So yesterday when I was driving my ford focus 08 and stopped at a light, the exhaust started smoking. When I revved more it smoked more, but it was also smoking on idle a little. The CEL check engine lights are blinking slowly when I start up the car. What could this be? I was thinking spark plugs and/or ignition cables.
- 2008 ford focus se transmission stopped working, lost power steering, and yellow engine light went on? I checked under the hood and everything looks fine. I started it back up and it ran fine and the engine light was no longer on. Should i be worried?
